Sniper EA Installation Guide

Market open/close swing trading strategy setup.

⚠️ Recommendation

It is recommended to use a separate MT5 account for the Sniper EA, different from the one running the Grid EA. This allows better tracking of your stats and prevents interference with the Grid EA's risk management.

Running Two MT5 Instances (VPS)

To run both Grid and Sniper EAs simultaneously, you need two separate MT5 installations:

ℹ️ Multiple Accounts

You can create multiple MT5 trading accounts on your RaiseFX dashboard at https://live.raisefx.com/trading-accountsAdd new trading account

Create a second MT5 installation
  • Navigate to your MT5 installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5)
  • Copy the entire MetaTrader 5 folder
  • Paste it in the same location and rename it (e.g., MetaTrader 5 - Sniper)
Launch the second instance
  • Open the new folder and launch terminal64.exe
  • Log in with your second MT5 account
✅ Done

You can now run both MT5 instances at the same time, each with its own EA.

  • MetaTrader 5 (build 2500 or higher)

How It Works

Entry: At MarketCloseHour:MarketCloseMinute, the EA checks the trend and opens a position.

Exit:

  • If SellOnFirstTick = true: closes on first tick after MarketOpenHour:MarketOpenMinute
  • If SellOnFirstTick = false: managed by TP/SL if enabled
