What Are Configuration Files?
Configuration files (.set files) contain pre-configured settings for the EA. They determine how the EA trades: direction, grid spacing, lot sizes, and more.
Available Configurations
under5k+++V2 Default
This is a bidirectional classic set. The EA trades both directions (buy and sell) following the trend in a flexible way.
How it works:
- Opens BUY when trend is bullish, opens SELL when trend is bearish
- Uses a 100-period moving average on H1 timeframe to determine the trend
- Grid spacing: 1100 points between orders
- First order distance: 600 points from entry signal
- No strict restriction on direction — the EA adapts to market conditions
In short: Balanced set that follows the market in both directions, reactive to trend changes.
under5k+++V2 is the default configuration built into the EA. If you want to use this set, you don't need to download or load anything — it's already applied.
OnlyBuy Safer
This is a strict unidirectional set. The EA only opens BUY positions and only when the market is clearly bullish.
How it works:
- Trades only BUY and only if trend is bullish (
TrendStrictBullishenabled) - Uses a longer moving average (275 periods) on a shorter timeframe (M10) — more conservative filter
- Grid spacing: 1300 points (wider, fewer positions)
- First order distance: 400 points (enters earlier once conditions are met)
In short: Defensive set that waits for a real bullish trend before entering, then spaces orders wider to limit exposure. Ideal for those who want to avoid SELL on Gold since historically Gold rises over the long term.
This is the safer option. Less market exposure, fewer trades overall since no SELL positions are opened, and wider grid spacing adds extra protection. The tradeoff is fewer trading opportunities.
