How It Works
The calculator estimates how many grid levels you can safely open based on:
- Margin Required: Each position requires margin based on lot size and leverage
- Floating Loss: As price moves against you, each open position accumulates loss
- Margin Call: Occurs when Equity falls below required Margin (100% margin level)
Pro Tip
Always keep a safety buffer of at least 1-2 levels below your maximum. Market volatility and spread can trigger margin calls earlier than calculated.
